We recently booked Pizzeria MOTO for a graduation party and can't say enough about the food, the experience and the service. If you are looking for a unique, casual catering experience that is super 'light weight', easy to pull-off, and will totally wow your guests, call Tyler at Pizzeria Moto! We engaged these guys sight unseen, based solely on reviews and were absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Tyler arrived promptly at my house 3 hours ahead of the serving time to get his fire stoked, fridge plugged in, and working area setup. Right at the appointed time, he started rolling out pizzas and didn't stop. He and his partner kept bringing in pies without a single lull or shortage of food! As part of the standard deal, he makes 4 different kinds of pizza and a HUGE tossed salad that is lightly dressed. Each pizza was very different in taste, all were FRESH and DELICIOUS and there was something for everyone! When we had eaten our fill, the left over pizzas were put in pizza boxes and left with me [which the kids LOVED]. This was one of the easiest parties I've ever hosted and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Tyler, for providing high quality food at a fair price, and making my life so much easier!
Pizzeria Moto catered our birthday party and were awesome to work with from start to finish. Planning the options for our party and logistics was a breeze, Tyler was very flexible and accommodating. On the day of the event, they showed up early and set up on time and pizza was served just as we had planned. Their service was great and the pizza itself was so good! Fresh dough and ingredients. We only served pizza at our event and it was such a hit! Our guests were raving about it for days and we even had couple of boxes to take home with us after the event. Will definitely work with them again.
Pizzeria Moto catered our recent wedding and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about them! They were so very easy to book and contact leading up to the day, on the day they were able to set up and start service with minimal input (which was so nice with how many other things we had going on!) and all of our guests LOVED the food! Seriously, people were stopping us all night to say how good it was. Plus, they just kept making food until our guests were full! Pizzeria Moto recently catered for a friend's birthday party and did an absolutely phenomenal job. The Moto guys weren't deterred by one of the coldest weekends in DC -- it was an impressive feat! The guests devoured the pizzas, and we are now loyal customers, ready for the next opportunity to bring in Moto!
We had Pizzeria Moto at a party for my son's baseball team in the spring. What an unexpected treat this turned out to be. The pizza was incredible. The dads could not get enough of it. I like my crust to be thin, with a bit of chew, and Moto's was perfect. The toppings were great, but it's the crust that makes a superior pizza and Moto's is spot on. Plus, Jay the pizza guy was very friendly and happy to answer any and all questions. I would not think twice about using Pizzeria Moto to cater a party at my house.
Pizzeria moto is incredible! They make their dough from scratch and you can tell the difference with the first bite! If their at the winery, hope the Brussel sprout pizza is on the menu, its killer!
We had Pizzeria Moto cater our recent company meeting for 60 employees. The appetizers were tasty and the pizza got rave reviews everyone. As our company president can be pretty discriminating when it comes to food, I'm a little wary of using new vendors when planning our events, but he thought it was great too (always a relief as the meeting planner!). Jay and his team excuted the event without a hitch, despite having to cook outside on a very hot July day, and the timing of the apps and pizza were right on schedule. Pizzeria Moto has a great concept, great service, and great food.
we all love great suprises especially when it comes in the form of a wood fired oven being pulled by a car. What great pizza, perfect flavors and a great crust. I put this up against Two Amys......save the gas and have them cater your next event.
I had the pleasure of experiencing Pizzeria Moto as they were set up at Tarara Winery a few Sunday's ago. I was very excited to give this a go as I've not seen anyone towing a beautiful wood fired pizza oven before! I got the "Lucia" pizza and added sausage to it. It was awesome! The crust out of that oven is perfect. Nice and crispy bottom, very tasty. The toppings were fresh and fantastic... and it all went down with some great VA wine. If you see Pizzeria Moto out there, grab a pie and you will not be disappointed.
